yes. I am one of THOSE people. One of those people who love all things Disney. (well, give and take a few of their movies, lol). I have been a fan since I was a little girl. My MOST favorite movie , and yet the one that scared the bejezzus out of me was "Sleeping Beauty". I was enamored with Aurora. The three adorable , buzzing around , fairy godmothers. yes, I remember their names. Flora, Fauna and Meriwether.... Aurora's pink dress that turned blue--back and forth, back and forthb b/c of a faulty wand. And the step mother, Maleficent. Scared me to freakin death. Those horns she grew!!!!!.... My mother gave me this large Sleeping Beauty book on my 7th birthday that I love and covet. (I had writing the word "covet" but I kind of do, covet it). One, because it takes me back to being a child. Two, because my mother wrote in it. And usually she got Daddy to do the writing b/c he had that beautiful calligraphy writing! (that was a sidebar, lol)....
Snow White/Sleeping Beauty/Cinderella! Wow, all a part of my growing up years. Then, subsequent ones when my own children were small! Little Mermaid/Aladdin/The Rescuers/101 Dalmations. And then the grands!!!! Tangled/Cars/Sophia./Toy Story......Yes, I have TONS of books for the grands/toys/Disney Princess dolls and Disney dress up box full of tutu's/wands and shoes. All of it.
We have made many trips to WDW. The first time with Charles and Michael way back in 1976. We have taken all the kids and one of my most memorable was when Natalie was 4. We were standing in line waiting for the parade to go by when , who should appear in front of us was SNOW WHITE. She left the line to come over and pull Natalie's pigtails. I literally thought Natalie was going to have a coronary! And then, there was the breakfast with the characters and Katie screamed any time one got anywhere near her! I have the cutest picture of Michael , pulling Pluto's tail, too! HAHA!!! And, when we went with Lily, Kemp, Daisy--Lily's face when she saw Tigger! Or when we went to the "Not So Scary Halloween Party" and Daisy got to meet DAISY DUCK!!!!! What great memories! ... yes, we have driven there/flown there many times. I am pleased, NO , thrilled to have been given as one of my gifts for Christmas , a trip to WDW again, with the Cullens!I guess I behaved because they took me in 2012!!!!! And , this time, what a special occasion! Ella Kate's FIRST birthday! Cannot wait to see our newest Disney Princess' eyes light up at WDW. NO, she won't remember, but WE WILL! And, I'll have pictures to show her. (all the kids love looking at my Disney albums!). And Carter! OMG, when he sees BUZZ and WOODY?! I just can't wait. And me??? I can't wait to see my hero, Mickey, again. He likes ME best, you know.
